Always had this question hovering as to why I understand its kind of a lead magnet for first year but it keeps increasing as we increase the years?

Why is that?

Discounts are usually for the first year only.

That happens with most domain name registrars. First year you decide if domain name worth to keep and then pay higher bills for next years.

Initially, the price is low to get people to register with that register to begin with. But the higher prices for longer restrictions take into account the fact that when the user renews, it will be at higher prices.

More clear than that? Is very simple, always will be more expensive you pay for 2 years, 3 years etc..

That's simple.. I don't see what kind of question you have.

What do you really expect? Cheap prices for 3 years than 1 year? Never will happen.
