Why is Reddit Banning People even /r/seo ?

Both. From my humble research even posting with highly aged and Karma farmed accounts my posts are still getting deleted.

Reddit uses automated systems like spam filters and shadowban algorithms that scan things like account age, karma, posting patterns, and especially links (affiliate links get flagged instantly in many cases). Subreddits like r/seo also have their own AutoModerator rules layered on top, which makes it even stricter.
A lot of reddit forums lately you cannot post. Auto ban is from bots. Forums like /r/seo get banned and affiliate links of course. Is it reddit mods or reddit ?

Reddit is a lot stricter now, and it is not just the mods. Some removals come from subreddit filters, while others come from Reddit’s own anti-spam systems. Posts usually get blocked because the account looks low-trust or the posting pattern looks too repetitive. When multiple accounts are involved, keeping the setups separate with an antidetect browser can help keep account activity more separated.

it’s mostly Reddit’s automated spam filters and subreddit auto-mod rules, not just human mods.

It's a mix of reddit's site-wide spam filters going nuclear and mods being extra paranoid to keep their subs from getting shut down. Since the google deal, they’ve been cleaning house to get rid of low quality affiliate spam and ai-generated junk. If you want to survive stop dropping links and just focus on actually talking to people like a normal person.

Both honestly. Reddit's automated system scans for patterns like new accounts dropping affiliate links or using flagged IPs, but individual subreddit mods also have their own bots that auto ban certain domains . If you're getting hit in r/seo, check if you're posting the same link across subs or running from a dirty proxy, Reddit flags that stuff fas

Reddit has become more strict now, even small promo or repeated links can trigger bans. In r/seo also mods are very active, so anything looks like spam gets removed quickly.

It is mainly Reddit’s system that filters and blocks posts first. Mods usually just follow those flags and clean up what looks like spam or promotional content.
