Why is rank going from 12-16 different days?

It seems to be switching from around rank 12-16 on an almost daily basis over the past few days/weeks. It also seems to be across the board in how the ranking moves around. Maybe it is slowly processing the sites authority or something? Is this normal?

It's commonly called "Google dance". This either mean you will have a higher or lower rank in the next few days once it settles.

Its google dance and given the dynamic nature of google's serps, such fluctuations are normal.

Yeah, its definitely normal. I usually check once a week or so, so I don't go crazy.

Thanks. That might be a better idea than checking daily. Also considering ranks can be long term if done right maybe that is a better way to view it. How it ranked for a month versus daily.
