why is paypal so damn popular here

Paypal is offered by most sellers everywhere because it is a household name. 99% of people have never heard of Stripe.

Most buyers do not like change and are cautious to providing CC details to some entity they have no knowledge of.

Fairly simple really.

I prefer Stripe personally, but offer Paypal as that is what customers prefer to use, and I do not want to lose sales.

Perfectly described, that's the only reason.

As a provider, if you don`t use PayPal, you lose clients. It's a necessary evil.

That's why you use Paypal, Stripe and Crypto as a seller

Probably something to do with the Jews.. again.
