Why is my website not making sales?

I am scratching my head so much about why my ecom site is not making any sales.

Its a niche website, and my competitors are making good sales.

Is my website really lousy or am I doing something wrong here?

Not gonna post the link here, but Ill be glad to send a link via pm if you can help me with my first ecom site.

Currently traffic is only from adwords.

There are lots of reasons, however, for the sake of generalisation and without getting into a massive lecture of specifics they usually boil down to traffic and conversion.

Compare your website with your conpetition's and see the differences.

I have been thinking 3 and 4 times before making this thread for many days, but I am now prepared for the bashing so I can improve what needs to be done
