Why Is My Website Load Time Such Garabage?

So check this out:

My website is only 860KB with 36 requests, but it takes a whopping 6.4 seconds to load!

Here is the breakdown:

As you can see, everything is mostly at 100 besides "Minimize redirects". Furthermore, if you do upen up Minimize Redirects, there is only 5 issues with it. See below:

Can those 5 issues really slow down my site by THAT much?

All advice is welcome.

look at the "waterfall" section and see what loads slow.

Check your site using Chrome Lighthouse Page Speed, too.

Are you using any caching plugin? Also, where do you host your site? What's the onload time, that's what the visitors see, not the "fully loaded" time.
 
Most likely a resource its being delayed a lot of time. Waterfall will answer you
 
I see you're measuring fully load time, but what matters is how long it takes for all the above the fold content to load and be seen by the visitor, or as it's called in GTmetrix, onload time. If you create a free account at GTmetrix you can use the onload feature.

I'd also consider moving to a better web host. In most cases, you can speed up a site considerably just by switching to a faster web host. SiteGround is good. And a good caching plugin like WP Rocket.
 
GoDaddy is one of the worst hosting companies on the planet, probably next to only EIG group. Switch to a better host and avoid redirects. Everything else seems to be fine. Unless you're using ads, your site should load within 3-4 secs even on an average hosting.

I'm gonna tell you from the first hand this is the main problem why your site load time is 6s. If you change your hosting to another shared hosting you would get 3 seconds or with VPS 1s up to 2 seconds that for sure. In the company I am working, we did everything we can to get better loading time for our client and we did testing with our dedicated server vs his shared hosting at Hostgator.

Find a better hosting provider and there is no need for CDN or anything else, it's just hosting.

Almost the same page size as yours and look at this loading time > http://prntscr.com/skc4b7 and this site is hosted on VPS.
 
Change hosting, or you try to optimize your site with Wp rocket.
