Why is my site doing that? When will it stay static? Is this what you guys call 'Google dance'? Following is the graph from the serpfox.com.

Yes it's a dance. It may take up to two weeks or even more if you build links too quickly and don't maintain that link velocity after that. Build some high PR links to see more stable rankings.

Would Yahoo! Answers links suffice? I know they are no******** but they are high PR. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but you probably would have guessed that I know nothing about SEO yet.

Balsaggot007 is correct. There are some services on here that offer some high PR link packages I think, but remember that Google wants to see a variety of all sorts of links in your portfolio. All do-follow links don't look natural, so mixing in some no-follow links won't hurt. Make sure you are using all sorts of anchor texts as well, not just your main targeted keyword.

if you started just now promoting your site on web, yes it happens initially max for a month do continue building links with high PR. I too had same problem with my site. Now it is on first page

lol high PR links do not make a site stable.

The only thing that keep's a site stable and rising is consistency and unique content.
That is the only formula that I have been able to replicate across multiple site/niches.

The above is pretty obvious so it should not come as a real surprise.

It looks like it's a dance. I have been experiencing a dance with most of my MNS sites for the past 5 days. My other sites have stabilized after 2 weeks the dance is over. Don't stress over it, if you can, start working on another project while this site stabilizes.
