I've started monetizing my adult blog about two weeks ago and here is my stats

I know 90%of my raffic is tier 3 but still these numbers make no sense.
Ps: i have put 3 different banners per artical and i was using another network for pop ups (popads), i removed popads script from my blog today and gonna try adsterra popads as someone has told me they pay more

Hey there, senpazi!

Looked at your stats, here's what we have to say:
1. Banners usually have lower CPM than most of our ad formats.
2. Increasing the amount of traffic will do well for your CPM.
3. You've got nice and converting traffic from some of the countries, try to "play" with your Statistics page, you'll see what I'm talking about :) Try to target them

And, yeah, using our popunders would help too

Welcome to adsterra. I get 35000+ impressions per day with my sites and my earnings are not so distant from yours. I suggest you to get used to it or moving to another ad network.

They AREN'T CPM, it's like, 20% (or less) is CPM and the rest is CPC or CPA (but they don't like to tell that to their users, you have to really dig deep in their live chat so they tell you. Look how the official account didn't even mention that, here in their reply).

If you have adult content, I suggest Exoclick. I'm just waiting to reach the ridiculous minimum amount for withdrawal with Paypal on Adsterra and I'll never work with them again.

(Popunders mean nothing either, they won't pay you even if it triggers, they'll want some kind of action with the popunder)

I also don't like to use Pop under on my website, the user is leaving the site after getting too many annoying ads. They're also using malware and red page ads that do really not feel safe to use anymore, banners can defently work just choose an alternative with high demand for adult traffic. Exoclick sound like a good option!

Popunders got OP some nice revenue already, not sure about your situation. Send me your email or contact our managers — we can try to optimize the ads for you.

You don't have to "dig deep" or anything, support is always online and can answer any question you have or might have.

As for the payouts from our side — our publishers get more revenue for people who interact with ads and perform actions. If you traffic converts you get more money. It's pretty simple :)

No thanks. Your concept of optimization is even more popunders (which already get flagged for viruses and malware), rendering the site useless and literally getting complains in my support tickets, from users that got tired of the ads and left the site (popunders that even though they trigger when the user breathes, doesn't mean shite because you start with your "oh, you're wrong, it's not about CPM, users must do X thing with the popunder"). So, I'm destroying my site, not even for a considerable raise in the earnings, a mere 10% in a good day.

Yeah, you have to dig deep. The fact that support is always online, as you say, isn't related to the fact that not even in your reply here, you could tell OP that his CPM is mostly useless, as it's less that 20% of the final result.

Of course publishers get more revenue when people interact with ads, that's a fact in all ad networks, the thing is, other ad networks have ad types that are 100% CPM, regardless of the actions or clicks, and you don't have that payment model, so be clear and explicit about it, because now I'm trapped with you because you pay cents a day and I have to get to $100 to withdraw via Paypal.

I have installed Exoclick ads on my site after coming across this thread. I had left one adsterra banner ad but I have removed it. The 12$ in my adsterra account will be the tuition for my learning.

I have more views and clicks than @senpazi but clearly my CPMs are too low. From my chat with their support, clearly CPM is not their thing... Its more of Pay Per Purchase/Full Involvement.

And Exoclick ads are more professional. Lets hope for the best.

My experience with @AdsterraNetwork is similar.
However, they usually do some kind of correction every 3-4 days where CPM goes up to $14, so it averages everything out to about $3 CPM.

For worldwide traffic, I was able to pull about $3 CPM with sidebar vertical banners, header banners and in article banners.
Removed popup as it messes up your retention and pageviews

For me I will try with Exoclick for now. Let me see how it goes. I have never seen a CPM past 10$ let alone 14$.

Googling about this, I came across this thread. So I revive this thread to comment on the same. adsterra CPM is extremely RIDICULOUS

Almost all my traffic is from the United States in adult themes, and they are not capable of paying me cents a day, not even if I have clicks,

Initially I only had banners, then I found a post on the adsterra blog where they said that using social bar type ads was the best because of their great CPM, LIE, I have put them up for a week and my CPM is still the same as before or even worse .

I'm stuck in this network waiting to get to $100 to withdraw my money, obviously I'm never coming back

I do NOT recommend adsterra to anyone, stay away from them
