My article is not ranking after weeks, it has the best links and great content. My site has 40Da, what could the problem be?

You'll need to share some more details if you want us to analyze. Are all your other new articles ranking?

Keyword competition can be the reason. Sometimes having DA 40, best links and great content don't work. You need to build more high-quality links and maybe increase the length of the content.

after weeks? unless its keyword without competition you are not going to ranki it in weeks

Give us a liitle more insight, your article might not be properly optimised to your keywords or it is not linked with the relevant anchors or may be the keyword you choose might be competitive. You can make more backlinks with optimised anchors & optimised the on page as well.

Its difficult for understanding google algorithm, So many factors play vital roles on indexing,
Ex : Keyword difficulties, Trust ratio etc.., Keep tracking for your site status.

The article should be SEO optimized. If not, Focus on keywords and link to the page which is important.

One of the reason is Keyword competition. You have to develope your link quality.

Check if the page is indexed or not. If not, submit your page to the GWT. Then share your page with the social media and other bookmarking sites. Hope this steps will push up your site ranking as much as it can. :)

It can happen because of various reasons, and it is hard for someone to say what caused that if they do not have more details. No one really knows how the Google algorithm works, and the updates are frequent. All potential solutions are just speculations, but some might work.

one of the main reason is KWs competition. what type of links you build. if you give more information. it would be better understand

I think High Competitive Keywords used. Its hard to rank the page / Particular Article. If need to boost those Article, collect good quality of Backlinks.

Keyword too strong to beat?

Get it checked by some expert whether it is in the low-comp zone or mid or extreme. Don't rely on the tools that tell you estimations.

Op, I think you are targeting a high comp keyword ?
Have you checked the domains on the 1st page ??

(I don't Understand why most of the people rely on metrics)

Your page or site may be over-optimized in Google's eyes, so it's rated more as web spam. Look at the competition pages that are ranking high, analyze their onpage strength and backlink profile. As somebody posted on another thread, if your page deviates too far from the top competition's on certain details (usual example, way too many blog comments or Web 2.0 links), your page could be viewed as the one trying to game the search engines.

Most probably non ranking keywords. Try diff combination with your keywords
