Hello, I'm a beginner in SEO.
I want to ask about something. I targeted keywords with low competition and it worked to get to page 1 of google.

But for keyward with medium competition my article tends to stay on page 4 for 4 days on google and has disappeared from google search. What should I do to at least maintain it in Google search? Thank you

Keep building out your website, and adding backlinks to it.

Make sure the page you're trying to rank has a decent amount of content on it.

That way you get a site filled with content and a site with strong domain metrics which helps you rank higher for most of your long-tail keywords.

How old is your website?

Maybe it is google dance if your blog is new.

Also keep on adding content.

Are you on WP?
Try building a few manual links & work on content.

As the new content keep publishing your article might have jumped to another page.

To improve and maintain the ranking.

1. you should update the content once in a few days.

2. Interlink the article with the one already ranking on the first page, as it passes value and authority and improves the page rank.

3. Create backlinks.

Update the content. Build good quality backlinks.

SEO needs continuous effort it is not a one time effort. Keep up the good work and the results will follow.

All the best!

You need a stronger website to rank for it, if i got it right :)

You should also focus on long-tail keywords and Start internal linking pages, then you need social traffic on your website + back-links.

Add your site to both Google and Bing search Engines with their sitemaps.

That might be the Google Dance, it happens every time you add new links or content. Google is determining your position. Keep adding high quality and relevant content.

Do Offpage SEO properly with quality links, keep updating site you will get the result shortly.
