Looking at the market prices, most of the coins dropped alot in the last 7 days and still does. Why is that happening? Please note, that I'm not an investor, just recently got some crypto for free and wondering if the prices will go back to it's state anytime soon.

nobody knows. It can drop, it can increase, it can reach all time high or it can reach lows again. What I know (believe), that in long term btc price will reach $20k, $50k and $100k for sure.

It's probably related to Tether. They control the prices.

Crypto currencies always have downfalls and then they go back up just like stock trading prices. So one of those moments perhaps. Probably a good time to invest on some or mine some.

In most general terms - because hoping to get rich via pre-designed scheme which creates nothing that essential in value while it has its goals set to overtake and redistribute all of the world's wealth isn't gonna work all that often. It's how real life works.
Land is way more valuable than gold or diamonds. Means of production are way more valuable than creating/controlling exchange currencies.
Crypto is meaningless, it has no value, no representation of actual produced goods and no real claim over what people are gonna choose as medium of exchanging value. It's a highly manipulative "asset" which has strayed way off its initial design, which in turn was flawed to begin with.
If btc goes to 100k or 1mn it doesn't matter not one bit. It will never be a world wide accepted means of exchanging value in its current form.

We're in a downward channel that has been in play since the ATH at the start of 2018 until now. In July there was confirmation of this trend, and if it fulfills as it should the price should move to around $2,000 towards mid 2020.

There are alternative hypotheses that suggest that we are actually within through of an upwards trend that has been in play since 2017, and that very shortly a long term upwards trend should form (next few weeks).

Either could be true, my money is the one that is most profitable for funds and whales - moving down to $2,000 before a new bull run starting in 2020.

Halvening next year, should be more exciting then than the sideways we’re in now

True, plus BAKKT if it actually starts taking serious investment and the Bitcoin ETFs if any of the get accepted by SEC

This just in. Markets are not static. They can move three ways.
  • Uptrend - aggressive buyers are using market orders to get into the market.
  • Sideways - market is undecided, or pausing before continuation, or getting ready to reverse.
  • Downtrend - aggressive sellers are using market orders to get out of the market.

btc is just being manipulated.. goes down a little and gets high and never gets low .. btc is like a gasoline..

I would love to put a friendly wager on us not even hitting sub 4k :)...we're in a new bull run, this is just the beginning.

If we get back down to $4k we're definitely not in a bull run. Since Dec it's been an uptrend for sure, and this could be the beginnings of a bull run, but just because things are starting to turn around doesn't mean there's not going to be more heavy selling - from a logical perspective, the whales that are running the show aren't going to make it that easy on the weak hands. It's too obvious right now imo, and while there could be an argument for the TA/charts showing upward price action, it's definitively not locked in at this point ;)

Until we get more adoption crypto is a pump and dump game. The market cap is really small and a couple of rich people can manipulate at their will. My advice is to get involved in the community and support the tech. The technology is the only thing that will make adoption happen.

In the long term I dont see many upside for decentralized crypto, CBDC will eventually adopted by mass and government win again

This is called market cycles.
