    I just spent like 20 minutes trying to post a method, and I can't get my post to go through. I'm not breaking any rules, just trying to share a method for making some quick money. I don't get it!

    What's with the filters, and what triggers them exactly? The notice that pops up is rather vague, and even when your posts doesn't hit any of the points it warns of, you still can't get through. A little help here would be nice.

    I don't want to feel like I'm heading into a war zone every time I try to share something useful. The time I just wasted to not get anywhere could have been better spent, so maybe someone can shed some light.

    Those are probably the spam filters for the newbies which you are facing. Try coding all the link properly since you might not be allowed to post them yet. Also, read the error properly and try to change your post according to it.

    I'm someone who has read the rules about adding links and I don't think you're allowed to post any type of link - at all, even unclickable

    The OP is right though, sometimes you can't post a basic reply

    But I guess life gets easier once an account gets more established?

    I can shed some light/war zone first aid kit: I've been here two days and I faced the same obstacle on multiple occasions.

    Try editing out some of the words in your post that, for the lack of a better term, are somewhat "suspicious." When I deleted the words that created the block I was able to move past the block (eureka!) and publish the post. You'll just have to use your intuition to find the words that are causing the block. Or wait until the probation period ends. Also, some of the words that cause the block may not be your words. They may be words (or characters) that belong to someone you're quoting.

    On one occasion I tried to publish a post and I was blocked. So I took a second look at my post as I would in that circumstance. And then I looked at the quote I was quoting. Everything seemed fine, nothing seemed suspicious. Each word looked mellow to me. But I had to do something in order to try and get around the block. So I decided to delete the quote to see if that would shake things up for the better. After I deleted the quote I was finally able to (eureka!) publish the post.

    Unfortunately I can't share the words that, in my case, caused the block because if I did I wouldn't be able to publish this post. Of course you can't post links during the probation period. As a newly registered member, using the technique noted above, I've been able to get around every blockade that popped up and tried to nip me in the butt (hope the word "butt" ain't filtered!).

    P.S. Welcome to the forum and good luck in your quest to make money online! :)

    @dreamqueen:

    You need to be a member of BHW for at least 30 days and have a post
    count of at least 50 points before you can post links. So, if you were
    trying to post a link, you would have gotten an error message.

    The only way you can post links without meeting the required 30
    days/50 posts is if you paid $97 to become a DONOR.
