Damn it.

I have been trying to find a good website to invest in for over a week now. First off I was browsing flippa and then for the last couple of days I was looking through digital point etc.

First of all I agreed a fee with a guy on flippa who at the last minute backed out and said he had received a better offer. That pissed me off a bit because he had accepted my offer and I wasted a lot of time with him.

Today I found a fairly new site that I decided to take a chance on from DP, I spent quite a long time researching and getting details from this guy. We agreed a price and then when it came to payment he decided that he didn't want to accept escrow, doesn't have a paypal account (WTF?) and instead wanted me to pay by WU or send to his friends paypal account. Now if that doesn't have scam written all over it I don't know what has. Maybe I was wrong about this last guy but I decided to trust my instinct and walk away. At the end of the day $1500 is a lot of money to risk.

If you're investing in the <$50k range, there is a LOT of junk to wade through on the various marketplaces.

For $1500, you're really not going to get much of an established site, so you're probably better off developing from scratch. That's not to say good deals aren't out there - but you do really need to know what you're doing to be successful.

I was looking at something less than $3000 really. Just happened to find this one today that looked like it had potential but to be honest he may aswell have asked me to send $1500 to his friend in Nigeria in exchange for $2000000 in bonds. Oh well.Hopefully something will come up. If anyone hears of anything that they think might suit then let me know. Thanks

You can invest that in far greater things, and make far greater money!
Best of luck though bud :D

I'd love to hear some suggestions :)

I believe meathead1234 had or has a JV where he acts as an agent to buy or sell websites. You might want to see if he would represent you.
