Why is instagram becoming heartless and rude?

I have done nothing wrong - my page is a beautiful artistic page. It was deactivated without warning or reason. Instagram staff has been incredibly insensitive and bullies. They refuse to address any questions , just obsessed with obtaining a personal photo. Anyone with an inch of intelligence who will have seen my page would know i am not a spammer , a bot or a troll. It was a page which others can share similar interests . Losing my account has caused a huge amount of stress because it was something i looked forward to when i return from a busy day at work. Instagram had never been this way before. I expect this level of insensitivity from Twitter, but not Instagram.. Is it because they are set targets to invade as many peoples privacy as possible hence the rampant up roar of bullying tactics? it appears that Instagram deliberately deactivates accounts in order to obtain personal photos on artistic pages

I think anyone can get you banned if enough people report you.
 
Same thing happened to me. One day I was just actually deleted without reason, and I can’t get the old handle back. Maybe we have some haters reporting us, I don’t know.
 
They want to keep Instagram free of spam so they will take whatever it takes to achieve that and you have to keep ahead of them
 
This is the reality guys. you don't own anything on social websites. All your efforts and money can be gone in just one second =/
 
Instagram algo blocks genuine accounts sometimes. I've faced the same issue but got my account back within a day after sending them my photo with a code written on a piece of paper. Just do it if you care enough about your account. There's no point in fighting.
 
Instagram or any platforms is just a game. It may hater day by day. it just how you play with it you will win somehow.
 
They want their platform to be free from any kind of spam, sometimes they may make wrong decisions and pick the correct profiles as well.

But how can a creative active page - where i am constantly interacting with people be a form of spam? I dont get it :(

Report me for what though? I have not been horrid or stealing photos without giving credit? Instagram did not give a reason, they deactivated my account and just kept pushing to obtain a personal photo?..I am confused:weep:
 
if I owned Instagram, I'd do the same thing to make sure my platform isn't exploited. We must push through or IG automation might fade away in the coming years.

What is it to say they wont milaciously do it again ? The callous way in which they did this - what is to say they wont do it again..

I recieved a reply from them saying they will not continue to deal with my query and i will not get access to my account. It was that simply- that callous.

Just because i wanted to know the reason why my account was deactivated and i would not send my personal photo in a timely fashion. We all have rights and it is justifable to want to know the reason why my account was deactivated. What is the point of doing all that for them to play these silly inconsiderate games when they feel the need to?

Once you send your pic, your account's trust score increases as they know you're a human and not a bot. Your account won't get banned randomly again after that. Not until you break their terms of use in the future.

Also, use multi-quote feature, don't reply individually. It is considered spam here on BHW.

I am not sure i understand and how is posting art - exploiting Instagram?
 
So you didnt even send them the photo?

You have no right to complain then.

As above person says it's a trust score measure. It's a barrier that most small bot account owners won't put in the effort to overcome because it's not worth the time. If it was worth the time to you you should have complied.
 
Where did you get the pics you uploaded on your page? Were they copyrighted?

I am not sure i totally agree with your statement . As i have read posts where people who had their accounts deactivated have sent in personal photos - either to have Instagram cruelly not respond or have their accounts deactivated again. If it where in the best interest of people, instagram wouild have no problem explaining the reasons why they require the personal photos, explain why the account was deactivated , advise reports where made . But instead they just shut it down , demanded a personal photo and when questioned was simply ingored

It is about mass exploitation and what i just said was - what was the chance Instagram would do it again. They was so insensitive and cold when i approached them and i wanted my concern to be address. I also said that it was NOT explained about a trust score measure. I knew nothing about it. They had sent me an email response on Monday saying they will not continue to deal with my query and they will no give me access to my account . Few days on i have heard nothing. Not sure if they have permanently deactivated my account or deleted it

You disagreeing with me is irrelevant. Instagram holds all the cards. The reason they dont respond is because these tech companies all run on skeleton staffing, they just dont have the resources to reply to everyone's emails.

Do what they ask, let them make a decision. If it's good then good, if it's bad then tough luck.

You didnt even do the first part.

Sorry to sound harsh but this is the reality of how social media companies work.

Some where from Google .. I miust mention that ALL photos where given credit . I just added filters and little arts to them
