Why is everyone afraid to buy crypto now?

The market is not really encouraging, currently. I'm not pessimistic, but it's just currently not a good time to invest in Crypto, imo.

For Bitcoin, it's actually really fucking simple.
Thinking of investing? Can you say 100% that you won't need to withdraw any of it within at least 5, or ideally 10 years?
"Yes I can" - Do it, in a decades time barring World War 3 you will have earnt more than leaving it in the bank. Period.
"No, I can't say that" - Don't do it. Short term risk exposes you. Losses in 24 months are plausible, losses in 120 months aren't.

People fear what they cannot understand... thats why they follow the masses.
I saw an article that mentioned that from like 2013 or so if i remember correctly reportes have said that "Bitcoin is dead" more like 450 times,
and yet bitcoin has surpassed it's ATH after some months/year.

Because these “discounts” may go even lower and remain at a cheaper price for a couple of years. The market is completely unpredictable right now.

because they're not deep yet, i believe bitcoin will go down around 30-40k and altcoin will go to earth's core

Because right now it's not a market, but pure manipulation. Today Bitcoin is up 7%, tomorrow it's down 15%, and so on every other day. And the whole market follows it. People are just praying to get out of the market without losing money, let alone making any investments.
Afraid are those who do not understand how crypto works at all
Bitcoin has been super up and altcoins super down, this is over. The VC money is all into AI now and the banks are interested in payment solutions rather than buying any crypto as store of value. How does any coin go 10x. Even though 10x from here is just break even
