Why is Amazon showing as a referrer?

So I'm looking through my Wordpress stats lately and I'm seeing a lot of this:

I do Amazon Affiliate stuff and it seems like it's all going to a page where I should be referring people *to* Amazon, not the other way around. What am I supposed to make of this? Also on that last one, there's a tag "mh0b-20" that's not my tag. What gives?

I did start AdWords recently, but I haven't even picked up 11 clicks total on the campaign yet, so that wouldn't even explain this. Thoughts?

Could it be a competitor who's looking at products on amazon through his own links on his site, then visiting your site after, to see what you are doing?

Use a better tracker like statcounter to see where your traffic is coming from.

Doubtful, since the site this is happening on isn't very established yet. Also wouldn't that show up as direct traffic then, not a referral?

Oddly enough, I don't see these popping up when I check my usual analytics. It's *only* appearing in my Wordpress dashboard.

You say you only have 11 clicks from adwords and I see 11 clicks in the pic.
Both adwords and bing ads are posted on Amazon. I get referrals from Amazon through my Bing Ads PPC campaigns.

It's all good, if you have tools that re-direct or enhance your ccntent based on referrer - see if you can get them BACK onto amazon. You would take over those other affiliates tracking id's and they obviously use amazon so would be an excellent target.

It would probably be an almost worthless nofollow link if that was the case. We all know that the best sites don't give do-follow links.

Fewer than 11 from AdWords, and that's over the life of the campaign, not that specific day. That said I am using Bing Ads as well. Here's where things get weirder: I found the source of the links; they're at the bottom of search result pages with sponsored ads. Ok, sounds reasonable, except that Amazon has their own A9 ad service, which I'm not signed up for. So how are my ads showing up there? Odd.

Amazon diversifies. I've seen adwords and bing ads on there. If you have both campaigns I wouldn't doubt that's where it's coming from.
Like I said - find a way to take advantage. Those are golden visitors man - unfortunately for me I use Bing for opt in landing pages not my affiliate sites, but if you can get them back onto amazon that's your tracking id.

Yup, the ads are to an aff link-laden review article, so yeah I'd say this is a sweet deal for me.
