Im actually delighted to see that u have concrete evidence so all the tards can see it.. There has been a multitude of spa posts .. "ohh who says that 90% of what u read is bullshit anyway" im gonna buy .info and prove that bla bla...

I own quite a few .info's, but I'd never use them for SEO/organic traffic. I use them as throw away domains, that's what I thought everyone used them for. Thanks for the read tho, good to know that a keyword rich .info doesn't mean anything. Now that I think about it, don't think i've ever seen a .info rank high on google

Yeah, never use .info's for seo, i dont even think google finds them they're so terrible haha. Just use them as garbage domains for viral s**t lol

If that were the case .com's wouldn't be worth so much more. One of those ridiculous domain brokers tried to sell me the EMD.com for the same keyword as I made this post about for 10k....yet the .info was unregistered. How could this be possible if what you say is true?
.info's do suck, sure they can be ranked, but the same effort applied to another domain would be a better return for your effort. What's the value of a keyword rich domain, when it's not providing you with any SEO advantage?...and a significant problem of having users not wanting to click on them.
I won't buy another....and that's why I made this post.

LOL @ all the people who can't rank their sites and blame it on the .info, it is probably because your SEO sucks... i see a guy here telling that he bought .info's blasted them for a month with Senuke and doesn't rank... and he is blaming the .info... what a joke.
.info is perfectly fine to use, i have many new PR0 .info's that outrank PR5 .com websites, but please stay away from the .info domains.. They rank like shit, don't tough them always go for a .com (the more keywords are left for me to pick up and make money of)
If your .info site doesn't rank do a honest review of your SEO tactics and ask yourself would i rank a .com with these SEO tactics or not and be honest... because it doesn't matter what TLD your domain is, the only problem you will have is selling your .info site, that is why i pick up these cheap PR3/4 .info domains, i just love these myths people make up
You must be such a SEO pro to outrank a PR5.com with .info.... Truth...the PR5.com probably isn't even targeting the KW.
These sort of comments are more about your ego, and less about what this conversation is really about. To me it's about effort. I can rank any site if I put enough effort into it....I have more than 30 sites....and they are all ranking with varying degrees of success. The point is if the effort of ranking a site is worth it? I can buy an EMD.com and rank it fairly easily at number 1 in most cases (competition is always a factor), and that's why I like them....no effort, good return for effort. So why waste time with info's if you have to do more worth on them to rank them....it doesn't make any sense.

You think that your PR has to be higher than a competitor's in order to outrank them for your targeted keywords? Maybe you're on the wrong forum. I think most people here should know that search engine placement in Google isn't only relying on PR. Also, MY .info domains are ranking just as easily as my .com, .net and .org domains and my SEO strategy is no different for them. In other words, no extra work and/or attention is needed for the .infos. Stop blaming the domain extension and try to find the real problems.

Exact/phrase match .info domains are great for testing markets/keywords. They're cheap, so you can launch multiple sites at minimal cost. And if you're using strong/unique content generation systems then they'll index fine. When you find good keyword-sets to concentrate on, you can add other domain extensions and move to take multiple positions on page #1. (Also using different content/IP's/Hosting/Registrars etc.)
