You are really upvoting every toilet joke that comes across don't you?

That shows their mindset.
They are a struggling economy on the verge of a collapse and they get delight in such shitty jokes.

Demand and supply. India is depleting it's forex reserves and the supply of indian rupee has increased in the market. It's just economics, it applies to everything even currency.

Lol @ dedicated shitting streets @MikeyMikey13 - The other guy with the toilet joke was funny as hell too !

Seriously though, what's up with people shitting/pissing/sleeping on the streets in India? I thought the country was on an upward trend. Maybe our government has finally been successful in shutting down all those tech support scams!

Hasn't india introduced new coin few a months ago?

maybe becos CHINA not doing business deals with INDIA. If you seeing all business news, CHINA doing business with MALAYSIA, PAKISTAN (silk road projects), THAILAND, PHILLIPINES and OTHER ASIA COUNTRY but not INDIA??? i think.....
especially INDIA and CHINA now border conflict so many.... and INDIA always up nuclear weapon and publish and boast to CHINA

If that is the reason, then why hasn't Pakistani Rupee improved against Indian? If your reason is true the gap between Indian Rupee and Pakistani Rupee should have decreased significantly. It has not. So I don't think that's the reason.

Besides India is the world's fastest growing major economy ahead of China when it comes to the growth rate. So attributing weakening business ties to the falling rupee value wouldn't be the reason.

While exchange rates can and are being manipulated, for non-fixed ones it's basically a matter of "how many people want to buy that currency and how much of it exists".

Money is also a product, like (say) apples. If there's ton of apples around but most people prefer chocolate, then the price of apples isn't going to be high.
That's a reasonable theory, I can get behind that.

Safe to say most of us are not qualified to pass judgement on this.

If someone is, my apologies, and you're probably better off at a different forum lol.
