Google's reduced crawl budget and the impact it would have on indexing.

See a few threads on here about why indexing seems slower and slower. This may be a reason.

That could well explain it. Surprised google are making cutbacks though.

Edit: I guess though that seeing as google has to keep re-crawling the entire web constantly, their resource requirements will be ever increasing as the web gets bigger.

So technically speaking their costs increase every day.

I can imagine that the server running costs would be through the roof. If the interlinking is on point though, the pages should index naturally. I've noticed that for new pages I've created that within a day or so the page is indexed in Google. The only difference is that when I submitted the URL via the toolbar, the page normally ranked pretty quickly. Now, whilst the new pages still index, the ranking is sitting around page 11 and 12 before jumping up. Before hand the pages would be at a minimum of page 7 and then increase.
Of course, this could be a coincidence.

Centralized control of the WWW does not scale. A decentralized Google is the only way forward.

This is why Ahrefs and others must charge $99+ for basic plans. Crawling the WWW is expensive.

i'm having one of weird experience, Everytime i use "submit to index" they dont even get ranked anytime. But natural index pages ranked way better.

I'm not sure if "submit ot index" is a trap by search engines.

Hey, As per my knowledge Google crawler spend a limited time to download a page. Now if your server is not responding correctly, then your page may take more than usual. The approximate downloading time of a page of my server is 300ms so if your downloading time is higher google can't even download your page to their storage. So, it could be the reason of slow indexing.

I suggest you that boost your server response and increase your page loading time.
