Why Ignoring Private Users?

Hey!

I saw a lot of different FL IG settings on this forum and almost everyone had the "Ignore Private User" feature checked? Why is this so important? They are still potential followers or i'm missing something?

One thing is that you can't comment on their photos if they are set to private and you aren't their follower.

I am not sure checking that box 'Ignore Private User' is working on FL. I am getting a lot of errors saying I can't comment.......'. I suspect that FL isn't ignoring these private users even though I have it ticked.

It's only good if you want to request to follow them.

Otherwise I would leave it checked if your commenting and liking pics.
