Why I can not choose Paypal as my automatic payment method on Paypal?

Hello,

I have verified my Paypal account on eBay and when I'm trying to update my automatic payment method to Paypal there is no such option:



I Can choose only credit/debit card payments.

And I even tried to use my family member Paypal account, and I tried to use those accounts on other eBay account and exactly the same problem occurs.

Maybe someone can explain why?

Any ideas?

Not sure but they used to be owned by the same people. Then they were split into separate companies and thats when I was made to also put a card on file and not paypal.
