Why has my IG suddenly died in engagement?

I run a pet account and would get i dont know... 1200-2200 likes on my photos steadily for the past several weeks/ even months, and now suddenly the past 3-4 days or so my photos barely get 800 after a like a day or two.

I haven't done anything different, I use A 'like' bot (no commenting) but that has been running for almost a year ever since i started my account. I use hashtags and maybe i thought i may have been using too many hashtags repeatedly? but i tried changing it up, but nothing. are there any real explanations for this?

impressions have gone down drastically as well, now i *barely* get 4000-5000 when i used to 10-14k easily on several posts. I have 15k followers btw, so i dont know why suddenly there is such a dip in engagement? my posts have been consistent in quality as well?

It's most likely that your account is shadowbanned.
There's a website that lets you know if your account is shadowbanned.
(just needs your username OR the post url that you want to check, no login required)

Are you running more accounts on the same IP?
 
Thank you, but the site doesnt work? I may not be entering the right info but whenever i enter my username, the page refreshes and no answer comes up - how am i able to get the answer? and well yes, but they are not like this account where im trying to grow it but really doing badly. i just went on another site called Triberr and well apparently ive BEEN shadow banned on my past posts - but they still received good engagement 1300-2200 likes. the only other accounts i have are personal accounts i use with friends and family. I am planning on starting a new account - original images but my purpose is to grow it to monetize it one day.

Try using the url of your last post in it. Ensure your last post is not too old. It will check and confirm if your post is being shown for the hashtags you have used or not.

Very intrigued by that site, although it seems to be broken as of now.

Someone needs to develop a tool that will reference your account to a shadowban.

I would pay for it.

ive been posting at random times - including the same times as posts ive posted before. i just downloaded jarvee but for some reason the auto like feature isnt working and its saying "action blocked try again later" blah blah on jarvee - but i can like stuff just fine with no warning on my IG account... is this a sign my account is going to get banned?
 
Hmm, Most defiantly have gotten yourself a Shadowban,

Unless you just got really unlucky and everyone decided to unfollow and un-engage in the same period of time.

thanks, i recently posted another photo - i seem to have encountered a like ban as well? according to jarvee, but im able to like on IG manually. but anyway, i used different hashtags and less, and posted a similar photo that got the most likes i ever received previously, and it seems to be doing a loot better than the other several posts where i barely make 800 likes after days. so i dont know whats going on, but thank you
 
What I noticed from my experience like and follow block occurs mostly due to bad proxy not merely because we are liking too much

Yeah unfortunately I couldn't give you a straight answer to this issue.
