More like Google Search is declining due to increasing ads and all those low-quality content, algorithm issues, and user dissatisfaction with search accuracy for me.

Google's search engine is getting worse and it's becoming much harder to find anything.
I'm already using other SE's to find things that I cannot find with Google.

is because they are showing a lot of trash content, mostly those sites that force you to accept a million cookies and all their content is hide behind million ads that you don't know what is a add or the real information

I'm get annoyed with be served the content THEY want me to see, which is not necessarily what I'm searching for.
I've been using:
Brave
Bing
Yandex
AI
I think the problem is not only with the infestation of Google search results with ads and other useless stuff. I think that Google uses much more AI in their algo. The AI makes it more and more unpredictable, so some garbage websites get a boost and some quality ones get pessimized.

Google has deals with many of the top websites ranking for everything like reddit or Quora. I blocked reddit using my ad blocking because I hate to see people with no idea talking about the thing I'm searching for and google somehow thinking that's the best result I should visit repeatedly without getting any solution to my problem.

Very true, that's exactly what happens. They don't understand how they hurt themselves longterm with this. There is no serious competition for google yet, but there will be BECAUSE of this (and other stunts).

A few years back, I wrote about how search engines are plagiarising bloggers' content in the name of AI-generated content.
We as a community should choose alternate methods to end this monopoly. I believe, working on bookmarking services and using forums directly should be our way to go ahead. SEO has always been one-sided. Where Search Engines used to update their algorithms whenever they wanted stating any weird reason, and in the end content creators used to suffer.
We should have more content directories instead of search engines who are trying to become every blogger that has ever existed.
They started with weather reports, tools like calculators, and currency converters. Added all of them in their search itself. There was no need for search engine surfers to go to websites anymore. And now, they have started using user-generated content without any limitation in the name of AI Generated Content.
It is better to support each other rather than using these search engines to find content.
