why google favours torrent sites

just recently we seen domain chnage by kickass and tpb,still those sites are up in google results
 
Matt and Larry get their favourite movies and games from these sites. Saves a lot of time having them on first page on their own search engine, don't you think.
 
why shouldn't they, they have legit massive traffic and extremely good page two retention (meaning that they are useful to people) :)
 
If people can't find torrents on Google they'll turn to some other search engine.

If google starts babysittinng search results, it'll become AOL and die.
 
well simply because they provide what people are looking for !!
 
I think the OP is more referring to how quick google picks up the redirection when a torrent site changes its url and transfers the ranking.
The answer is probably all the torrent scene news sites will have linked to the new one by then.

Not that. The torrent sites have a huge amount of authority and sites with that kind of authority get spidered everyday. That's why Google notices and processes the redirect so fast.
