Why google doesn’t blacklist the word SEO?

Hello everyone!

As you might know, google has a decent backlist of words, and if you try to search for that almost little or no content comes up, this is mostly for copyrighted and illegal stuff. There are a few lists online where you can see many blacklisted words but I can’t link those since it won’t fit the rules.

This is pretty normal, but looking from this angle, why doesn’t google black words that are meant to manipulate google.

like the most simple word SEO which basically means to gain a better place in the SERP doing actions that aren’t part of a regular website usage.
Why google allows content to be displayed about how to manipulate their system?

but going further more, services like gmb reviews etc, that are harming the natural look of things aren’t banned either.

why?

Just like how tax optimizations doesn’t not mean tax fraud, everyone knows that too.
And if it would be as you says google would have SEO documentations but as far as I know other than some technical suggest and schema application there is none.

Next you'll say, google should just deindex the bhw.

Google talks about keywords all the time , all over the place, it's original white paper about backlinks is out there since long time.
So I guess, its too late to walk the dog backwards.

What are you trying to say?
Being on the forum meant for SEO and fight google's algorithms, you need to black the term SEO? we can't get you!

Fine lets say, google is blacking SEO as you said, then there will be no quality among the sites you search for, leading to bad user experience which tunnel to less revenue for the sites.

Why to mix the site optimization with tax?

There are many possible explanations: 1. Google wants people to use SEO so that they can improve their ranking in search results.

All top results when you search for general SEO terms are saying what they want people to see.

“building backlinks bad, just write naturally…”

Better to feed people what they want them to see than keep them in the dark, looking for alternatives.

As for specific terms, they don’t really care. They only start caring once website is an outlier and reaches top positions. Which is fraction of the sites using any service.
