Why Google Disavow Is Bad News For Us All

Part of me feels sorry for Google, in that every new tool or update they put in place to clear up the failures of the previous one ends up needing to be cleared up itself. I agree that Disavow seems to present as many problems as it will cure, especially in the wrong hands. And things that can cause serious problems in the wrong hands ALWAYS wind up in the wrong hands. The wrong hands always come attached to the people who are looking for things that will cause serious problems.

Mistake!

It's only bad news to suckers who play the G. game! Enjoy your treadmill!

From your point of view (and mine) this tool is bad news but I would expect it to be a blessing to all the SEOers willing to offer this as a service to their clients! Just think of the mess "some" SEO companies have to clean up... that they created!

Job security.

Just because you submit a disavow link for your site, doesn't mean that same page will be a bad link for the other sites on the page. I think google is only going to remove the link from your site's link profile for the purposes of ranking your site.

To be honest they pretty much had it right when they were just ignoring bad/junk links instead of using them as a negative factor.

The only problem with this was people were exploiting the system to rank poor quality/junk sites which was obviously a problem.

I think the right solution would be along the lines of how links used to be value combined with Authorship so Google can use that signal to determine the content quality.

Hahah I can't disagree but I love the thrill/ride of SEO personally can't help myself!

It's just a new way for inexperienced SEO's to cut corners - because lets face it, the only solutions that exist to solve penaltys now are the disavow tool and moving domain..... lol

Yes that is possible but it doesnt make sense for Google to continue valuing something a human has specifically told them isn't valuable. Perhaps 1 vote on its own won't be enough though

I was searching for a thread about this topic to vent my frustration with Google...

MY SITES DROPPED HARD LAST WEEK.

And I don't know what's causing this.. And I really do tend to lean towards this
tool that Google has put out to the public. I think they are penalizing the links.

Some of you might now me as the co-creator of SErobot. And I used this tool
to send out thousands of spammy links to my sites, however it seems Google
is catching on.

Also note that I left the SErobot team this month entirely. Due crappy support
being given my the creator. He was too cheap to hire proper support.. But after
some chats with some (other) big guys that revolve around SEO, I am glad I
parted ways with this tool. And it seems I will not be touching a SEO automated
tool anytime soon..

The people I spoke with confirmed my thoughts about this Link Disavow Tool and
stated that SEO tool will become obsolete within a year.. And will probably only
do more damage.. I didn't use Google's tool at all but it seems my links are getting
penalized and it efffecting my ranking...

Please be on the lookout BHW members.. This is something to really keep following.

That is the problem, you only 'think' you know what the cause is.

Spend time finding out what the exact/precise cause is ( http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...ink-profile-fix-current-future-penalties.html may help )

Until you do that, your just pissing in the wind and getting most of it on yourself.
