Hey guys, one of my sites (adult) is getting a good amount of german traffic, but unlinke other contries with the same or less amount of visits, it doesn't seem to convert at all. If theres anyone experienced on german traffic, could you please give me an explanation?

Germans are not conditioned to have their credit card at hand at all times (if ever they even have one). It's not very common that the average 'Hans' has a credit card at all.
Since most adult offers charge via credit card, there often is no way to subscribe/buy anything simply because there is no option available for them.

Here is more about that:

Quote from the article:
Just 33% of Germans said they had a credit card back in 2011. And most of those hardly ever get used. In 2013, only 18% of payments in Germany were made via cards, compared to 50% in France and 59% in the UK.

Well credit cards are not THAT uncommon, actually. Most adults have one, but we use it very often here - so yeah, thats probably the point.

Traffic source is similar and traffic quality is the same as the traffic your other sites are getting?
How is a conversion defined?

Did you read the article and my quote?
Here is another one from an american that moved to Germany about what she changed in her habits:
8. Buying on credit
Credit cards are also virtually nonexistent in Germany. This presented a problem for me when my American bank account decided to shut down after my first "suspicious" attempt to withdraw money in Leipzig, but once I got that squared away, being required to plan my expenditures and live on a cash-only system helped me keep my finances under control.

Acceptance of credit cards is very wide, especially because of tourism, and maybe you (and people around you) use your credit card a lot, but this doesn't reflect the Germans as an whole...

I wrote my reply before you edited in the article. 33% of adults owning a credit card is really not much, I would have guessed 60% at least. Point to you!
Acceptance of credit card isnt very wide by the way. Even some of the big supermarkets still doesnt accept it.

german traffic is comming form the same sources as the rest, most of my traffic comes from the US and I have some csanadian and australian traffic aswell, evethough the germans visit the site 4 times the rate canadians and australians do, it dosnt covert (complete the CPA offer) as the others...

I'm born in Germany and can you say -> here in germany, we don't have much creditcards. if we can, we buy stuff without creditcard. even i don't have a creditcard.
peoples here in germany like to buy stuff with their bankaccount (online banking) or paypal.. creditcard + online = not rly common here @germany.

if you like to have more conversation, get us germanys stuff that we like & can buy (and not with a creditcard..) ;P

greetings

German traffic on my website is also not converting very well (incentive CPA). I know a few people that have lots of German traffic, but low conversions. They are just like that I guess.

I think German traffic is also same as rest country, it depend if the offer is appealing or not for them to use Credit card.

You can completely forget Credit Card based offers for Germany. Here you use your standard Bank Account+Card or PayPal to pay online :)

The surfers are probably too busy fisting their horse to buy anything.

Those crazy germans.

cos they lost the war... and its all immigrants in there now who can't afford computers and internet nor have credit cards yet.

I have been wondering the same things, i can hardly get any conversion for german traffic, more like 0.5% conversion rate in general :P

As a German I think many people here are more careful and inhibited when it comes down to buying things online from sites they never heard of. It all depends on the offer, but I'm sure many germans would think twice if they really want to give their payment details out to a pornsite they reached by some redirect. Just IMO of course :)
