Why G doesnt Fetch and Read my Sitemap??

Hi Guys,

One of my websites got many pages deindexed recently, so I thought to re submit my sitemap to G for reindex lucky.

However, I added this website to search console and submit the sitemap, and thenit just doesnt fetch and reach my sitemap.

The sitemap is no problem open in the browser!

Have u guys had the similar problem before? how to solve this?

Much appreciate if anyone comments below.

But seriously, I'm pretty noob but my stuff gets indexed almost instantly. It may be that your content is bad,short,copied. Is it?

It is showing as HTTP error. Are you using correct format of your url? Are you not using SSL ? check on that and try to fix that issue.

i am using SSL with this website, and it has been indexed for a long time until recently.

I tried many methods, disable the plugin for new sitemap generator, clear cache, but whatever I tried, 404 error just remains there.

No clue how to proceed now...

Make sure robot.txt isn't blocking access.

1) try a different seo plugin and resubmit the sitemap, depending on your host ask them for help if you’re using Wpx or kinsta type hosts they maybe able to,help you

thanks a lot for advice, and I have been tried many plugins, but all failed until I found this one -

Google XML Sitemap Generator

The sitemap generated by this plugin has no problem for fetching and reading in GSC

If anyone has a similar problem, u can give a try this plugin.

Hello again guys.

I submitted my sitemap a few days ago, and showed all success status.

However, I checked my website in G, still none of pages got indexed, then I came back to inspect individual url.

Then I found this: Crawl anomaly.

Anyone knows about Crawl anomaly problem? thanks guys
