Why fake the traffic refferers?

Hello all,

I am new to cpa marketing. I am reading the faq but have a question.

Why do we need to fake the traffic referers? What is the reason for doing that>?

Because sometimes the way you get your traffic is not allowed by the restrictions of the specific CPA offer... Hence you need to pretend your traffic is coming from a permitted source.

oic, so normally we fake traffic sources to be like google, yahoo etc?

google, facebook or any other legit site that the offer allows

Because if I didn't fake my traffic I would be banned by now. I don't see the problem in CL traffic myself .

Guys what does it mean faking the traffic in a cpa network? also what does it mean blank reffer something like blank referer+iframe?

Faking the traffic is probably alluding to faking the referrer- you are faking the traffic's source.

Blanking the referrer simply makes it appear as it was either direct traffic or there was no referrer.

Isn't it also so they can't see how you obtained your traffic?
Like keywords someone said and better information that the advertiser can use themselves and gain the same traffic you are getting.
