Why even bother with open link wheels?

They are not as powerful as before but they still carry some weight...

Yes hey carry still carry some weight and i got some results with closed linkwheels, did some open one too but can't say anything about its effectiveness.

I believe the same, I have always used 100% unique articles that i created myself. as i sell my own product

They are not dead yet. But there are some pro and cons, thinking of x-rummer blasts or blog spamming you can get sandboxed but have in mind that google is smart and usually when you create a link wheel you're doing it with the same article but modified to be "unique"(unique my ass) if you guys think that google can't see that it almost the same you're wrong about it. The only really good linkwheel is with different articles. At least that's my opinion.

It's simple guys, becose your links in your linkwheel are always about the same niche/product.

And for google that a BIG difference !

That way you can get to page 1 in google for your keyword with Only 20 backlinks.

fair point..But i can get 100 links from blogs that talk about my niche that are
PR 5+ in 1 min.. if google bust your link wheel then you can kiss all those articles and all that hard work BYE BYE...

Open of closed it doesnt make any difference, dio you guys treallything that by not closing the wheel google is not going to find out what you're doing, seriously?

why do you say that mate?

IMHO it matters more about how you create the Web 2.0 properties you use in your link whee. We us proxies and a VPN. We use a different email for each property. Yes it is time consuming but in the end it is well worth the effort.

First we don't put any links or pictures in our properties. We can create on unique article and spin the rest because each property is unique. As soon as we have the content in our blog we ping it. And as soon as it is approved we pimp it up.

We add a banner with a clickable link in it and the same with the pics. We add a few widgets too and an RSS feed. Then because each has a different email we post comments in each blog or property. After a bit each property becomes very powerful.

Now that you have properties with no footprints for G to trace you add more content to them on an ongoing basis. You then ping the URL and RSS feed and do your Bookmarking.

This is a long process and does not fit into some of the methods allot of Blackhatters like to use. But if you have a keyword phrase you want to dominate for a long time a well constructed link wheel will do the job as good if not better than any other method on the internet.

It is important to know that Google will not sandbox all the properties in the link wheel. Again, each one is unique. If G could do this you could get rid of your competition in a heart beat.

Also, once your link wheel is constructed you can link articles and other web 2.0 properties to them like Ehow.com and so on.

While this is going on your website is getting stronger and stronger. Your bookmarks and Web 2.0 are dominating the 1st page of Google. Your not only getting massive traffic your getting massive links.

In addition, you can have sub link wheels attached to your main link wheel. You can also have additional link wheels targeting different keywords.

There are a number of drawbacks with a professional built link wheel.
1. Some blogs like blogger.com are initially nofollow. You can edit the source code and change this.
2. Hubpages is a nofollow too until you meet their requirements (I think 75 points), and then it is a ****************. The same holds true with Squidoo (I think 25 points).

So there is a time factor involved and and work needed to upgrade these accounts.

You also have to be vigilant in terms of not spamming in these blogs or you will get banned.

If you play by their rules and you make sure you cover your footprints for G you have one of the most powerful tools for dominating Big G!

Google can still see the links going to you money site, it is very easy to discover the patrons. closing of not closing a wheel doesn't make any difference if you want to stay under the radar.

So we dont need backlinks anymore:eek:
cause you can make forum, soc network, web 2 ....linkwheels , so we dont need this links anymore  go*ogle will ban us.

Because Google isn't retarded anymore and not closing the wheel doesn't make any difference, Google can still see the links going to you money site, it is very easy to discover the patrons. closing of not closing a wheel doesn't make any difference if you want to stay under the radar.

If you use an open linkwheel, link from one web2.0 properties only to the next web2.0 property (NOT to you money site). The only exception is the last web2.0 property in your chain. From there you link to your money site. This way you build more and more link juice and the link to your money site will benefit you.

IMHO I don't believe you will NOT be banned. You may use a spoke/property in the wheel or the hub but it will not effect your website! No way G can do that to you...no they will not ban your website. If that's the case I could get PR8 banned if I want. Think about it!
Just cover your footprints and don't make it look so obvious.
