Why engagement's groups are better than buying likes?

I've seen a lots of engagemnets group for IG so i've started to thin to join some, anyway why those kind of action it's better than buying auto like for the photos?

Engagement groups are usually free, but IG like are extremly cheap and you can buy a thousands of them, maybe IG recognize they are fake and can't help your IG photo to trending or going viral?

I wonder this too

bought likes carry no real power because those are from accounts that are botted and have low amounts of followers.

the point is to get many likes from pages with lots of followers (10k, 100k, 500k+) because they have lots of followers they have a more power and thus bring a higher chance of reaching explore.
and also when you get liked by pages you'll end up more in the explore section of their followers and thus also get seen more.
a few likes from big pages carry a whole lot more power than thousands of likes from botted/fake pages.

Fast Fake likes helps to popup your post to get to the explore area , engagement groups very slow and it wont help as fake likes, Maybe you can do both for good idea

I noticed using fake likes is a different approach and good at least starting out if you are over 1.5k followers people into your niche will trust you more and engage with your account. Other high ranking profiles will like your photos more you just see an increase in traffic all around besides the fake accounts. Now the bad part is your main audience is bots until you can grind in some actual followers.

Since I don't really use my personal Instagram account the whole Explore page is a bit of a mystery to me. How does it work?

Will I see posts on my explore page that people who I follow have liked ? Or will I see things that people in my geographical area have liked? Or will I see things that people who follow the same kind of accounts as me (but not necessarily people who I follow) have liked? Or will I just see generally trending posts (no matter how they are connected to my account)?

The reason I am asking is because it makes a difference to the OP question. If it is somehow connected to me (people I follow, geography etc) then fake likes would do nothing but they are probably som Indian accounts with just bot followers.
