Why doesn't tiktok recommend my videos at all?

Started a new account in tiktok through the desktop version (didn't use phone). I uploaded several videos, they have not a single view and not a single like. Videos that are interesting on other platforms (Instagram and Facebook) are gaining views, but there is no reaction on TikTok.

I checked the privacy settings, everything is ok, everyone can see and comment on my videos.

I don't understand what the problem is, has anyone experienced this?

if you started without any followers, it will be unlikely that your account will be discovered videos shared from an iphone phone are being watched a little more, I think it's something that depends on the algorithm, and the video content is important to pay attention to the use of hashtags
 
At this time TikTok is a huge social media platform, and the algorithm that determines what content is shown to users can change frequently. You do not have control over this.
Only you can try to upload content on regular basis and wait for the result.
 
I am more confused not by the fact that there are few views, but by the fact that there are none at all. Even YouTube gives 10-30 views for new videos on new channels, but tiktok completely ignores me, as if it were some kind of shadowban.

I agree with the others that the content is crucial (style, content, quality) but 0 views already indicates that something is wrong with the account.
Try once new videos with a new account and new device (possibly from another WLAN).

Do you have multiple accounts on one device under one IP? That could be a problem.
 
Try promoting your Tiktok content on views exchange groups or other relevant channels to give it an initial boost.
 
0 views? so ignore most of the above, your account has been shadowbanned, probably because it was created on the desktop

you need to create an account on the phone and upload videos, the normal is to have a few hundred views in the beginning...after you get that, take into consideration what was mentioned above

also sim card from desired geo:
-with sim card, 500-800 views for fresh account
-without sim card, 100-200 views for fresh account

Your account has no weight 0 history, so has no reason to push your videos
 
Patience is the key. Nothing is instant. Keep on uploading and one day somebody will notice and it will gain traction and become viral. It may take weeks, but WTH? right?

You have no idea how tiktok works and you advice him that patience is the key, seriously?
If account get 0 views with first 5 videos, account is to trash because it's shadowbanned forever

So that's a very important thing to say, do you have a source for that or it's from your experience? I'm interested to know since this happening for my old account which I restarted to upload again ...
 
That's normal-ish. If it's been days or weeks, then it's not normal. You've probably been shafted by the algo. Try and cater your content to a specific niche, usually helps. If you think you are shadowbanned, check your content and delete the ones that could possibly have gone against the community standards, or at least, those that might get picked up as a violation.

I think it is a shadowban, your account has been Flagged.

Its unactivated, will just this unactivated US sim card + india wifi work for uploading on tiktok?
Do I need a vpn + dedicated IP + activated sim? Or is the unactivated sim enough?
