Couple years ago Flippa had an app which made browsing, selling and bidding more comfortable. Also the mobile web version is not user friendly either.

Send them an email regarding this issue if you are so worried about it

Imagine majority of your clientele being scammers. So yeah , that's the reason in my opinion.
But there are a few unofficial flippa apps out there.
I bet you won't try 'em.

But what does that have to do with blocking the scammers?

If there are scammers with the app, there will still be scammers without it, in my opinion.

Unofficial app of Flippa?

Better to stop guesswork and contact the company directly with that kind of question.
Indeed that is the best way to find out.

I did and they told me to use the browser.

Flippa Support Answer
We no longer have an app on either Google Play or the Apple App Store, and while we're working on the mobile optimization of Flippa, we recommend using a full browser on a computer at this time.

They have made a few updates to the mobile version. While main focus has been on the main site and a new on boarding process is rolling out.
