Just like other platforms, whether adding a link attracts conversions or not mainly depends on the content you create. No one clicks on a product link if it’s unrelated to the content. It’s similar to watching a movie review—most users are just curious about the movie’s quality or checking the comments to find out the movie’s name. (This is just my personal observation.)

This explains why many Reels creators gain recommendations and followers but fail to generate conversions.

Another reason is that the page's content might be inconsistent, leading to fluctuating engagement. Some videos go viral, while others flop, causing a significant drop in click-through rates. This often discourages creators, leading them to blame Facebook for reducing engagement.

Which Topics Make Facebook Reels More Clickable & Conversion-Friendly?
Here are the top 3 topics I frequently use for creating Reels that drive engagement and conversions:

1️⃣ Cute & Adorable Babies
2️⃣ Fans of Any Popular Idol ✨
3️⃣ Smart Home Appliances

Why These Topics?
✅ High Popularity – These topics are widely loved and watched by many users.
✅ Consistent Content Flow – They help build a dedicated audience (fanbase) quickly.
✅ Strong Purchase Intent – These videos naturally trigger buying behavior.

For example, baby content attracts the mom & baby audience. Expecting parents or people around them often watch baby videos, share them for good luck, and eventually develop a strong purchase intent for baby-related products.

Similarly, watching a clothing review can immediately trigger an impulse purchase if the viewer finds it suitable for themselves.

The Key: Emotional Content = Higher Conversions!
If your content triggers emotions, it keeps users engaged, making them avid watchers. This allows you to build a high-quality customer data pool and strategically place links or PR for brands.

How to Source Viral Video Content for Facebook Reels?
I primarily source videos from TikTok by selecting:
✔ Large channels with millions of views
✔ Medium-quality channels with 20,000+ views

Steps to Find High-View Videos ‍♂
1️⃣ Open Facebook Reels on your phone
2️⃣ Tap the search bar near the create button
3️⃣ Enter keywords or hashtags
4️⃣ Browse videos with millions or hundreds of thousands of views and analyze competitors' strategies (Most pages simply re-upload TikTok videos)
5️⃣ Re-upload similar videos and use the same hashtags (If they went viral, you can too! )

How to Find & Attach Product Links?
I mainly use Shopee Affiliate, as it's widely popular and suitable for all audiences. Shopee has high user traffic and sales volume, making it easy to generate conversions.

✅ Register for Shopee Affiliate and start linking products!

I would just add that aligning your product link with a clear call-to-action inside emotionally-driven content can significantly boost conversions, especially when the product directly solves a visible "problem" in the video.
