why does this still exsist

Every time has a new social media being launching but every strategy is almost the same in the end

It mostly exists for legacy reasons. Some users still use it for niche purposes, old links, or testing, and forums tend to keep sections that still get occasional activity. Even if it’s not popular anymore, removing it doesn’t really hurt anything, so it just stays.

That is a fair question, and it's a topic that comes up quite a bit in the feedback sections. The reason some of these "legacy" sections still exist while giants like VK (with its 500 million+ users) or WeChat don't have their own sub-forums usually comes down to three things: History, Monetization Potential, and Language.

VK has certain regional limitations for users in some countries. As for MySpace, it was one of the pioneering social media platforms, so it's understandable that it still exists today, even though its influence is much smaller than it was in its early years.

I think Myspace is a legendary platform and definitely deserves to be part of the discussion.

VK is subject to regional restrictions in certain countries, which can limit access for some users. Meanwhile, MySpace remains online despite its reduced popularity. As one of the earliest social media platforms, it played a significant role in shaping online networking, and although its influence has declined over the years, it continues to exist.
