Why does this happen ?

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section but Ive built a money making site thats acting strangely.

The problem - Ive built a html site when i go to hyperlink the images their linking back to the sites domain.

Example I link an image on my site to google.com when I publish the site and click on the link the link takes me to mysite.com/google.com and not directly to google.com

Please can somebody help me out with this
