Why Does Reddit Keep Suspending My New Accounts?

I've been trying to create new Reddit accounts, but they keep getting suspended almost immediately. I’ve used different emails, changed IPs, and even cleared cookies, but nothing seems to work. Sometimes the suspension happens right after creating the account, and other times after making a few posts or comments.

I’ve made sure not to spam or break any obvious rules, so I’m wondering if Reddit has some aggressive detection system in place. Could it be:

  • Fingerprinting my device/browser?
  • Blacklisting my IP range?
  • Detecting patterns in my behavior?

Has anyone here successfully bypassed this issue? Any tips on creating and keeping a Reddit account alive would be greatly appreciated!

Try to create a new account using Reddit app in a different mobile phone + 4G connection

It's more than likely the IP address then. If it's a bad IP, like a datacenter, accounts get suspended without even dropping a single comment. Use a residential or mobile proxy.

Reddit has become really hard to grow new accounts in the last few months. I also created 3 new accounts recently and within a couple of weeks, they were all suspended.

Reddit's definitely cracking down hard. Sounds like you've tried all the usual tricks already. Yeah it's probably some combo of things like device fingerprinting for sure. They could be seeing a pattern even if you think you're being careful. Maybe try using a completely different browser or even a virtual machine?

Are you using similar phrases or topics as your old accounts? That could be a red flag. It's a total pain but good luck!

its probably your DEVICE, like PC, or phone your using. if you are using the same DEVICE they can connect all of your accs immediately, you have to use anti-detect browsers and proxies. also the app allows them ID some of your device components too. and yes they have been more aggressive with bans lately too.

as of thier recent indiscriminate banning people have reported that them gett temp suspend got all thier other accts immediately banned from the site despite no violations from either of those.

Take your time building your account, that is the best advice you can get

Mass bans happen when Reddit links accounts, don’t reuse emails, usernames, or passwords. New accounts need a warm-up period, don’t just start posting, lurk and upvote for a few days.
