Why does my PPC performance always "tank" on weekends?

yeah bro this is normal i see same thing, weekend traffic is more casual people just browsing not buying so conversion drop, not really bot mostly low intent traffic, what i do is reduce budget or pause bad adsets friday night and turn back monday, no issue with algo if you do it smart, also try day parting and check ryour data maybe some hours still convert on weekend so just keep those running.

Sounds like weekend traffic is just window shopping. Pausing your ads on Fridays won’t hurt the algorithm much, but day-parting and adjusting your bid strategy could help save your budget.

Hi guys, I’ve noticed a weird pattern. From Monday to Thursday, my Google and FB ads are profitable (ROAS 2.5+). But as soon as Friday evening hits, my sales stop but my budget keeps burning.

I’m spending $200/day. On weekends, I get clicks but no conversions. Is it just 'window shoppers' or is it some kind of bot traffic that gets active on weekends?

Should I just pause my ads on Friday night or am I ruining the algorithm by doing that? Would love to know if you guys use any 'Day-parting' strategies.
its pretty normal not bots mostly, weekend traffic is diff mindset people just scroll + click but not buying so conversion drops… i also face same thing, best is use day parting like reduce budget or pause low converting hours on weekend not full off maybe just cut 50-70%… also check your data by hour/day in google ads u will see pattern clearly… pausing not kill algo if you do it smart dont worry just dont keep turning on/off every few hours… optimize schedule and maybe test diff creatives for weekend audience.

yeah weekends can be low intent traffic, I usually reduce budget or pause bad hours instead of running full spend. day parting helped me a lot, just track which hours convert and cut off the dead times without killing whole campaign.

yeah happens a lot after initial push, I’ve seen it start moving again only after refreshing old pages and improving site structure a bit.

it means you’ve seen the same issue, so instead of spending full budget on weekends you lower it to avoid wasting money when conversions are weak.

Happens a lot weekend traffic usually has lower buying intent. People browse more but convert less, so CPC can stay same while CVR drops. I usually reduce bids or budget on weekends instead of running full spend.

I also noticed this too weekends often bring more casual traffic, so intent drops and conversions go down. I usually lower bids or pause weak campaigns on weekends.

it’s mostly weekend behavior change, not bots people browse more and buy less. I usually just use day parting and reduce bids or pause low performing hours on weekends instead of fully running full budget.

It happens a lot weekend traffic is different, people click more casually but convert less, so ROI drops even if clicks look fine.

it’s mostly normal behavior, weekends often bring low intent browsing traffic, not bots. Yes, many advertisers use day-parting and just reduce or pause budgets on weekends to protect ROAS.

weekends usually bring more casual browsing traffic, not buyers, so conversions drop.It is pretty common, many advertisers just lower bids or pause ads on weekends to keep ROAS stable.

yes, it’s mostly just people being less likely to buy on weekends. Your clicks are real, but buyers are taking a break.

Had similar issues. Weekend traffic was not bad, but people took longer to convert.
