Why does my competitor’s promotional post remain visible while mine gets hidden?

I’ve noticed that whenever my competitor posts a new thread with promotional links, it stays visible, even though their account gets suspended. Meanwhile, if I try the same approach, my post gets hidden and I get suspended also.
We’re both posting in the same subreddit similar type of content, so I’m curious: why is their post sticking around while mine disappears?

Is your reddit account new?
Is your competitor well established member??
I'm buying 1+ year old reddit accounts, but I’ve been using a VPN , so that might be part of the problem.

Regarding my competitor, I’m not sure how established their account is, because it gets suspended so quickly.
I wrote a script to pull information-cake day, post karma, and comment karma-by querying Reddit every 15 seconds, yet even that seems to be too slow to catch it before he gets suspended. It’s a bit weird...

Reddit’s moderation can be pretty inconsistent tbh im in the ofm niche. Maybe their account has more trust built up, or they’ve figured out ways to avoid triggering the filters. It could also be that they have some kind of special relationship with the mods. It's frustrating but the system isn't always clear

This has nothing to do with mods, they are publishing inside unmoderated subreddits.

Did you check if they’re crossposting or editing links after posting? He might be using high karma accounts with clean post history, Reddit loves trust signals.

Could be account age or how warmed up the account is. Also possible they're using better proxies or cloaking methods. Try warming up slower and avoid posting links too early.
