because everyone wants xrumer and they're too cheap to buy it so they jump on the chance to get it for free. So people load a fake crack with a shitload of viruses and when someone downloads it they are screwed and the guy makes money

There is no crack for xrummer, but it is a well sought after product because it is so expensive and good.
therefore those conditions give a good combination for people that want to get CRAP on your computer to offer it as cracked to get the most people to download and install.
My one friend looked at it and basically said "holy fuck" its easier to just buy it then crack it. [not that he is an expert cracker by any means]

Nothing cannot be cracked. If they can crack Autocad and the likes which cost $1000's they won't find a problem cracking Xrumer . It must be already around in the undeground.

The reason nobody can crack Xrumer is because it is client side. The validation process is completed through a external server. There aren't that many security features in the soft itself, it just requires you to authenticate your copy each time via their server. Understand?

You will never find a cracked version of Xrumer that works properly. Trust me when I say that it's worth buying it, especially with the latest update.

Like chickuzt said, it requires extensive server authentication, and I wouldn't be surprised if each copy came hard coded with a unique key (at that price, why not?).
And as for why there are so many trojans out there... it's made by Russian programmers, and if Russian programmers know how to do one thing, it's how to create a good botnet.
