I have just purchased BMD because of all the positive reviews from here and I don't see why you guys like it so much. There are barely any mainstream web 2.0 sites on it like Digg, Jumptags, etc. And by many people's admission here on BHW, pligg sites are shit.

So what am I missing? What makes this program so great?

I believe that there is a lot of hype around it and it's power is over-rated.
Also, although the tool is effective and saves a lot of time, as far as web 2.0 social bookmarking tools like Digg go...well they're just not what they used to be. Not the software's fault really.

i purchased it some time ago and i thik you are absolute right. i can see no increase in anything on the projects that i use it for.

BMD 2 shines best when it's used in Expert mode. But it takes work.

First thing I like about it is that you can add your own bookmarking sites. These can be your own sites over which you exercise complete control, new sites that you have found on your own, or network sites to which you have purchased access.

Next, the crazy randomization that you can make on the descriptions, titles, etc. really makes it seem like completely different people are bookmarking your sites. Add some newsfeeds to the mix of sites you submit on a your BMD runs and you're really well-camouflaged.

Finally, it can keep track of many, many ids and passwords on all the bookmarking sites in the list.

There is a learning curve for BMD, but once you get the hang of it, it's worth the effort --- used right, it can produce for you a lot of backlinks automatically.

Rick: Thanks for the review. I just started looking at software for bookmarking but this helps my consideration of BMD. As new bookmarking sites seem to pop up all the time it is nice to know that you can add your own without waiting for the software developer to make a software update for them.

Thanks Rick4691 that was a good and concise answer to the question. It's the work part that most don't want to do with any software

Always good to hear from someone that actually USES a product and who has taken the time and put in some work to figure out best practices if any.

all those of you thinking of buying bmd , there are several services that beat bmd everyday.

search the forum for bookmarking services.

Ya I got my money back. But I could tell that I wasn't using it right. Unfortunately, they just don't have very tutorials to give you a heads up on how powerful it could theoretically be.

I just bought this and after that I have seen a bot in this forum,which looks like better than BMD.But I haven't used it literally,only twice today.Is there any good tutorials other than their videos.

I used my BMD today to book mark my Web 2.0 properties for a linkwheel that I was doing. When I started, I had only 1 Web 2.0 property showing on page 6 of G.

Later that night when I went to check my backlinks for my money site, the checker I used said that my IP was accused of spamming and now even the 1 web 2.0 property I had in google is gone.

I am still indexed on google for all my web 2.0 sites and my money page, but my blogger page is not indexed at all.

Any body got any idea's what happened? I am not pining fast that I know of and that's the only reason that I can think of for Google taking this drastic of a step.

Question is....will I ever be able to get my money page indexed at all?
