...looking in the "Making Money" section, when you already have clients or a job ready to be completed?

Stop being a lazyfatfat.

Just do the f***ing job.
Then, and only then, after you are done with it, look for other methods.

You know who you are...

What the OP is saying is 100% correct, although I would say it in a different way.

The problem even has a name . . . It is called "S.O.S" (Shiny Objects Syndrome).
Almost everyone who starts out in internet marketing goes through it to some
degree. Sadly, some people NEVER get over it.

The "shiny objects" often come in the form of a new WSO that promises
"easy instant cash at the click of your mouse" or a new method that
sounds like an absolute winner.

What happens is that the person starts a campaign/project and then
along comes a "shiny object" that sounds much better than what they
were working on, so they abandon their current project and move onto
the next one, then the next one, then the next one, and so on. Nothing
gets completed, and in time, the person finds himself with a hard drive
full of "shiny objects" and no money being made. It is like a drug and
it takes some harsh realization before the individual sees it for what it
is. I know this, because I went through it in my first year as a noob.

A friend of mine once said to me, "You're trippin' if you ain't shippin'. "
That means that if you aren't out there in cyberspace actually SELLING
SOMETHING, then you are fooling yourself.

Cheers . . . and thanks for warning our members about this all-too-common problem. :)

How come you're the only Mod who takes part in public discussions like this? Is it because the others have some inferiority complex or something like that?
Well if it's because they don't have the time then I'm sorry.

OP, why did you need such a thread? What if the one you refer to doe snot read this?

I can't speak on behalf of my fellow mods other than to say that we all do our part.

It's acceptable when beginning to bounce around. I'd say it's irresponsible not to. When you're young, you're supposed to learn and then explore.

But when you get clients, you will feel so much better if you work on their projects first. It is the kind of integrity that prevents doing business online from becoming scams or plain theft.

This situation is plain to see when people make threads asking "what can I do?" and I always respond with write articles, design graphics, provide manual backlinks, code html or scripts or bots, but they want more than to work. They saw the gold, became greedy, and are salivating at the mouth looking at candy instead of planting and picking something from a garden to eat, and be sustained continuously.

Once someone pays you, you do the work. When it's done, you're free again. You are your own lord and serf, and if you cannot control yourself to do your work, you need to find a job where a boss is telling you what to do. Conducting business on your own in this case becomes a liability and can get you into serious trouble.
