Why do you guys hate Neil Patel?

I don't personally hate him. I don't spend too much time reading his content either though. I feel like he has that "SEO Guru" image which makes me doubt how much he knows vs how much he presents to people that he knows. Also, it's more of an "everything of value is locked away unless you pay" mentality which is contrary to what Blackhatworld is about, for example. Maybe those reasons are why some people have a certain amount of disdain for him, rather than his bald head as some people have intimated.

What's up with all the bald jokes?

It's gonna happen to most of you guys one day too.

Good luck. lol

That's right mate. I found out the other day that I am starting to go bald as well - I didn't know until someone pointed it out to me, as I never look at the top of my head. As my sister kindly pointed out, referencing me as having "eggs in the nest".:eek:

I dont hate Neil Patel, i follow also his News/Blog and he have very nice skills.
But what I don't like is how he talks about his customers.
I've seen talks on YouTube where he talks badly about the customers, how "stupid" they fell for his tricks and that's why he was able to generate more leads.
You should always treat your customers with respect. So now I don't buy products from him because I don't want to be "stupid customer".

I don't like his writing style. Too long-winded....

I think it was the i'm kinda of a big deal t-shirt he used to wear and then calling his company that on top of him being a guru type character led me to believe he was just another tosser rehashing other peoples content and acting like he has invented electricity.

Thank you for asking this question.
I've also wondered why people don't like him, but I didn't want to ask.

What's wrong with him making it a paid tool?
You sound very much like Robinhood's CEO during GME hearings lol.I'm gonna ask you directly:

"Are you bald?"

Because Neil Patel is.

Yes or no, please, I do not accept "when I was a young boy in Bulgaria.." type of answer.
P.S. I'm not Maxine Waters, so no hard feelings if you don't reply.

Neil got me into this, but after going through a lot to get to where i got to, i don`t think i will ever wanna learn anything from Neil again

I couldn't have said this any better.

One thing I'd add : he makes tons of money telling others how he made money, but none of his early exploits are truly known. Kinda like other gurus in the field. We only know the rosy public story. Most SEO's from that age didn't get started with 100% pure traditional marketing.

Since I'm also going bald of sorts and I know how lots of well known SEO's got started, I see through most of them.

E.g. One very well known SEO business owner (not Neil) used to tell everyone to be white hat, etc, and he made a bundle of money with white hat content (which didn't work). All while I had his black hat link spreadsheet on my desk 10+ years ago. LOL.

I can't say the same about Neil Patel though. I know those other SEO's exploits. I don't know what got NP bootstrapped....something kickstarted him for sure and it's very likely not the public story. But it could be.

All I know is he's successful now and it's all his own merit. He's hard working, got a good network of business partners, communicates well and makes $$$. Can't say anything negative about him.

For me, when i see his content, he always gives generic statements and believes that we believe that that his tricks are gonna help with SEO.

Neil is a promoter but at least he spits out some halfway decent stuff....

Tai Lopez on the other hand...

From what I gather from other members, Niel Patel became a face value marketer, like an equivalent of Tai Lopez in SEO.

And from the disposition and temperament of SEO's, they hate these kinds of marketing.

Also, others say they proved his Ubersuggest gives false reports

I might be wrong

But personally, I just don't trust people without hair.
1 - he is bald
2 - he is more salesman than content creator
3 - over-marketing in relation to the content created
4 - he is bald
5 - fake SEO reports
6 - he is bald
@HustleTong show hair proof, it gets serious:
LOL, nothing is matter but Bald is matter lolz :D
Dude is just weird. We mostly hate his marketing strategy tbh.
Dude pretends to use whitehat tactics in his SEO and marketing but he is actually one of the blackest blackhat guy that ever exist on earth.

I just hate hypocrisy
