Why do you do BH?

I do it because I don't want to end up like my father, who's been working the same boring corporate job for the last 20+ years. I want to do things on my terms; make money for myself and not some other idiot.

Also, I do it because of my hobby. From March to June, I storm chase. I've been from North Dakota all the way to the Mexican border. You can't do that with a job holding you back. When I was working during college, there would be more than 1 occasion when something was going down not even 30 miles away and I couldn't do anything but watch it afterwards.

I do it so I can see my daughters first steps, and hear her first words.
 
I do it because it makes my competitor as well as enemies wonder and then cry afterwards
 
I do it so I don't have to work some back breaking job in a factory. Also so I can have enough money coming in so that I can have the freedom to play golf everyday if I choose.

I was going to say unashamedly, because I am a capitalist and love money because of the power it brings...but your reason ximscreamingx is the right reason, but sadly only in a perfect world and we are currently on a course that is taking us further and further away from utopia.

I do it because I had a dream... no bosses, no time clock, no travelling to work, and no pressure to conform to the work ethic. Besides after forty years of labouring making others rich.. I deserve it :D
 
I stopped seeing the world in the absolute terms of black and white years ago, so I traverse the infinite shades of gray in between. Some days I move closer to the black end of the spectrum because it's more entertaining.

I bet your children will give a similar explanation in the future "I work at an office 9-5 cause I don't want to end up like my father sitting in front of the computer all day and night wishing to make the big bucks that never will come" ;)

Just kidding..

I am not sure what I am doing right now. I have been running white for some years and just recently started to look into the dark force of Internet marketing. Still I am experimenting a lot and I have managed to get most of my sites banned and burned :( But I am working on improving and to learn more and hopefully one day I will have a site that exists for more then a week ;)

I got into this mainly cause I thought it was fun and I finally had some time over to start to learn some BH techniques and to implement them in my marketing plans. And the money off course.. I want the big bucks but I have just managed to make some few cents until now. :p

Still pretty sure that one can make money from this. I am just not sure if one should try to make money from a few sites with quality or hundreds of sites with no quality at all but instead a lot of ads...

Any suggestions of what is best? Or that should probably be a whole new thread instead of hijacking this one.. ;)

One thing I'm curious about is if people really manage to make a living from this? I am not thinking of selling marketing products or schemes but rather.. Are there anyone who is making money from sites generating traffic from blog spamming, coockie stuffing etc etc?
 
Simple, I don't want to work for the rest of my life doing something that extraordinary boring. I want to have more time with my wife and children when I married someday and doing an extraordinary adventure =) That's it
 
Well I figured after I sold my soul and everything

it would be somehow dirty to do whitehat stuff.

So I pretty much just stick to where I fit in best ;)
 
To attain financial freedom. Financial freedom = higher quality of live = more time for myself and family = can concentrate in my hobby = healthier (coz can spend on health products) = live happier ........... BH all the way !!!!
 
I was from the beginning fascinated from the internet. My motivation was a very good friend in the 90's. He told me to promote online casinos. But I always stopped as internet was still expensive that time. My wife and my friends were laughing about me when I tried to learn html instead of making nice bbq with cold beer with them (this never will make money they said). Than my friend visited me and showed me his stats from the same casinos I tried to promote and I was 200 percent motivated: up to $ 140.000 monthly I saw at his stats from the same casinos I just made a few 100 $. And as he is a very good friend and as I knew that he also started with zero, I started working. And success came. And suddenly the friends, which were laughing about me before, were starting asking me if I can borrow them money. But from that time I said no.

And more than 2 years ago I made my biggest dream become true: I left Europe for a new great life in the tropics. And this business keeps you independend: you need your computer and an internet connection. Than you can change your location whenever you want.

edit: this good friend also brought me to bhw :cool:
