I do it because I don't want to end up like my father, who's been working the same boring corporate job for the last 20+ years. I want to do things on my terms; make money for myself and not some other idiot.
Also, I do it because of my hobby. From March to June, I storm chase. I've been from North Dakota all the way to the Mexican border. You can't do that with a job holding you back. When I was working during college, there would be more than 1 occasion when something was going down not even 30 miles away and I couldn't do anything but watch it afterwards.

So why do you do it?
