why do trustpilot reviews keep mentioning employee names?

I've been reading trustpilot reviews of many companies. one unnatural thing i have noticed is many trustpilot reviews mention employee names. this is not exclusive to one industry. I have noticed this in reviews for cell phone carriers and hosting. for example the review says "I was having a problem and Jeremy helped me with my problem. Jeremy is amazing" "I was having a problem and Samuel in chat support helped me with my problem."

this is not just in 1 or 2 reviews. let's say a company has 100 trustpilot reviews. 98 of them mention employee names. there is no convincing me that this is natural. what's going on here?

It's usually the opposite, especially with large companies.

Fake reviews don't get personal very often, at times they do when a company owner writes their own reviews but most of the time people receive a decent service and they just want to point out the person they dealt with. Nothing sus there.

I disagree. people are self-centered and they just want to get their shit. they don't care about the employees. have you been to a coffee shop recently? do you remember the barista's name? I bet you dont
been reading yelp reviews for years. been reading google reviews for years. never seen a single employee name being dropped.

My experience is based on the tens of thousands of fake Trustpilot reviews I have done over the years.

This is not happening on a scale you think of.

If a company wants me to write reviews for their business I never know who are the customer service members behind their site.

Maybe they do have a CS team, maybe they are based in Italy and have Italian names so I can't write reviews as Sam or John provided a good service. Maybe they have a CS team and their names are not public, or maybe they don't have the service set up in a way that I'd know if it's via phone, live chat, email, or in person. I never dive that deep into anyone's business.

The only times this happens is when some business sends me their own ready-written reviews.

And even then, most of the time, they don't mention the employee's names.

The rare time this happens is when a company owner is the sole operator behind the business. Example: Someone runs a web development service and they want their name to be public because they are building sites themselves.

Out of 50 companies maybe 1 sends reviews with names.
