why do spammers like viagra?

But you need viagra, once you start with it, each week.
People build their customer base with it, and once you build a good mailing list you don't even need to promote the products - people will come to you by themselves.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess there are a few reasons.
- Older people typically fall for SPAM and are less tech savvy to avoid it.
- ED is something that effects the older more often.
- ED is something people don't want to talk about, even with doctors. since you can't just go to Walgreens and get Viagra, they are glad to find a more anonymous alternative.
- People like to have sex and an erection is pretty important to that process. Many people will believe and do damn near anything if they think it will help them get laid.

Seriously, because of many reasons stated here and also because:
-It's small and easy to handle compared to other products
-Because as it's legal and unrestricted in some countries, it's easy to get (as a provider)

Its pretty simple, see most cpa companies or legit vendors, advertising networks dont want to be associated with spam whats so ever.
So the only companies that would welcome these spammers with their arm open are those rogue pharmacies. Why do you think google got sued for 500 million dollars for advertising rogue pharmacist companies .
Some of these rogue companies are even operated by the same russians lol.

When you list the pros and cons of spamming "viagra" sales.
Pros:
- Many men that reach the older years need it for sex.
- Men love sex, and need to perform for their partners.
- It's expensive in the US.
- Men have such high sensitivity when it comes to their penis. They don't want anyone to know it's not working correctly.
- Fear of ridicule or judgement when picking up prescription or getting a script, etc...
- Most Viagra users are older men who are not always tech-savvy, therefore they believe it's legit, and can't spot a scam.
- Most online Viagra is not real Viagra. Usually a much lower cost drug. Even placebos sometimes. I.E Let's say 100lbs of pure Sildenafil Citrate (Viagra) costs $100,000. 100lbs of Sugar to make placebos = $200?
Cons:
- The smart guys who know it might be a scam.
- Possible law enforcement intervention.
- ....That's it.
Sounds like a dream come true in sales honestly.

It is exactly the same actually. Those companies want to keep their customers as it pays well. If you're just going to send placebos, why send anything at all? And they would have to deal with high chargeback rates. It's much better to establish good customer base, so they ship the real stuff, just from countries where it's extremely cheap to produce (India).

The US can do anything about them rather than blocking their packages at customs if they sell from a country which is legal?

I actually have a legit pharma related site, that isn't a spam site, and I have to say that viagra is one of my most popular searches, and has given me the biggest returns. Honestly, its a problem that men middleaged and older men have, and they are too prideful to consult with their doctor about it. Thats the appeal in it for the spammers - people turn to the internet specifically to seek out a way to get their hands on it without having to tell the doctor about the problem.

I believe the profit margins are excellent. The real Pfizer viagra costs a lot of money and the generic Viagra costs hardly anything. At the same time most people have no idea how much it should cost, and they are still willing to pay a lot to be able to enjoy sex again. So you can take a 20 cent pill and sell it for a couple of dollars.
