Why Do Some Facebook Accounts Get Restricted Right After Running Ads?

Yeah, it happens a lot. Most of the time it’s Meta’s automated security system flagging unusual activity (new account, new payment method, sudden ad spend, etc.).


Ads can be approved first, then the system reviews the account behavior later and triggers a restriction.

It's common for ad accounts to crash shortly after launch. This can happen either because your newly created ad account has already started a heavy campaign, or because of policy violations within your campaign's meta tags. It's recommended to use ad accounts with a history of previous spending.

New advertising accounts should start with a small budget to avoid being flagged by the risk assessment system.

This usually happens because Facebook’s risk system flags new or suspicious activity. If the account is new and suddenly starts running ads, it can trigger automatic restrictions.
Things like account age, payment method, IP history, and overall activity on the profile can all affect the trust level.

Due to Facebook's ad censorship policy, if you post images or content that violates the policy, your account will certainly be disabled sooner or later.
