Why do SEO Noobs love plagiarizing content?

They don't understand how the content is important in a site, so they take an easy route to rank. Mostly plagiarised content doesn't work all time.

The funny thing is they still had the time and effort to decorate and design their website so nicely (even site structure for SEO and so on)
I LOVE designing and decorating my own websites. It's what I spend most of my SEO time on, and after I finish building them the way I want I then admire them few times a week and marvel in how pretty they are. And no, I'm not making fun of you, this really is the case with me (always a non-creative guy and having had huge admiration for artists) but when I've gotten my dirty, rotten hands on website builders like WP and saw what cool things - design-wise - I can do with it I got into the habit of wasting my entire life on prettying websites lol

So, taking the time to make my sites pretty (I'm speaking for myself now) vs. writing well-researched, well formatted, well thought out articles that are perfectly correct grammatically is a no brainer for someone like me who dreads writing as a business. Yes, many of my posts on this forum are entire novels, but that's because gossiping - as much as I hate doing it - comes naturally to me, whereas writing even 400-500 words article is a dreadful chore and after writing 1000-1500 words of great content I don't wanna hear about writing for weeks, literally. I get mentally burnt out and emotionally enraged at this mundane task that I go and play video games and fuck everything else.

don't have the time to write or source their own original content
it's not about having the time (again, I'm giving myself as an example here, not speaking for everybody) cause some of them do have time. It's about hating writing content, which I do

What's the point?
ranking and making money, obviously

Google usually hates duplicate content and it's not like they are gonna rank theirs
on the contrary. Google (seems) to not give a fuck anymore. Since many spammers / black hatters outrank legit websites with plagiarized content it means that it works and that google really doesn't care about plagiarized content anymore. Either this, or they've totally lost their shit (most likely) and can't figure out how to fix what they've broken with their "mighty" algorithm.

These being said, I am NOT a plagiarizer. I thought about doing it many times, I just don't have the required douchebaggery (I'm a righteous person by nature), but I could easily answer your questions because I'm also an evolved human being (so, an empathic one), so I can understand what's going on with these people. Oh, and I also know a bit of SEO, too, to be able to tell you why "noobs" love plagiarized content

Mostly newbies don't focus on these content things , They just get excited with fast rankings with poor content !

Most of the time, you couldnt even know the webhost because these pirate sites hide behind cloudflare.
You are right, It is much easier to contact cloudflare than webhost. Some webhost may ignore but not cloudflare

Such sites are not difficult to track down. Use the text verification service for uniqueness.

You nailed it on the head.

The keyword is "noobs."

People who don't know what they're doing still think that Google doesn't penalize duplicate content.

While Google is on the record as saying that there is no such thing as a duplicate content penalty, you have to take this with a grain of salt.

On its face, that is correct.

But in terms of actual operations, there is such a thing as a penalty.

Let’s discuss briefly why some people think otherwise.

A lot of people who don't believe in a duplicate content penalty keep pointing to new sites and the fact that these new sites would usually just take a Reuters or AFP article and reprint it, maybe only changing the headline.

In many cases, they don't even bother to do that, but they don't get penalized.

The problem with that analysis, if you want to call it analysis, is that you're comparing apples and oranges.

Those are new sites, and news sites have a long-established practice of "syndication."

The same doesn't apply to a product review blog or some sort of specialized niche blog intended to make money catering to us a narrow audience.

So, the name of the game here is to come up with original content and more importantly content that works.

Just because your content is original doesn't mean that you're going to get a competitive edge.

It doesn't work that way.

At the end of the day, your content must nail the search intent of the keyword that you are targeting.

If you fail to do that, your content is not going to go anywhere.

Believe it or not, even if you build a lot of links to that piece of content, it may still get defeated in the rankings because there are higher quality pieces of content out there.

I know this is hard for a lot of people to take, but Google is not as stupid as people assume it is.
