Why do Porn Tube Sites Fail?

I have been lurking for a long time, going on a year. Bottom line is I have seen tons and tons of people on here and many other forums starting their own adult tube site and now when going to their site, nearly all of them no longer exist. I am not hear to ask how to do this or that ect. I am simply asking why did you/they fail? It is a huge trend that I noticed and would like to know what are the main reasons/reason. Is it because of copyright notices? Traffic? Money not coming in? Thank you.

Heavy competition?
 
Yes heavy competition which is why if you don't have a bunch of start up money you are doomed. Another thing is porn is free so it's hard to make sales, i mainly sold traffic and made very little off affiliate programs and that was doing 50K hits daily. That there was quite a bit of traffic and these guys starting off new have none so they pretty much never make any money to operate off of.

There are a lot of smart people here I am sure there is something other then that, not that there is not a lot of competition but there people here can make it work. Im curious what caused that, maybe they got pushed out? Legal notices? I don't know. Id like to know though.

Even with having a porn tube site that auto populates and not hosting the videos?
 
Because only big and well organized websites can survive in this niche. If you can't offer something new or unique, the choice is limited or it's possible to get it for free somewhere else, nobody will pay you.
 
You just can't fuck with manwin etc. when you dont have a good bankroll. They eat you for lunch... 100% of the webmasters here starting a Tubesite are amateurs and know a shit about the adultindustry etc. Billions of hits are getting around in the big networks daily, to build up something like this needs a bit more then to know the difference between ******** and nofollow. Building up a Pornbusiness is much more entrepreneurship then any other thing here going around. You need the right traffic sources etc. Only with indexing your tubesite build with a cheap clonescript etc. won't give you tons of traffic, and that's what you need. Porn is the biggest trafficwar going on beside ecommerce ...

Video hosting is so expensive even Youtube lose money every day but Google use it to close the circle.
