Why do people try to make their PBNs look "real"?

If this is all true, then we should be really careful when buying PBN links right? There are so many sellers here, so no matter how huge or safe their network is, it's always a risk with same PBNs linking to multiple sites. So building a PBN for own money site is the safest?

You want long term results?

1 smart and real looking PBN link only to 1 money site. Not 2, not 3 not 10.

You don't have money for that?

Tough luck

Well defnitely always ask for samples, but there are minimum providers who know what they are doing, plus, they don't accept stuff as hack/crack niches and so on. All in all, if you order from marketplace, your site is already dead. Question is just when. You'd better make piece with that.

Building your own PBN will always be the safest, because you have the full control.

That's quite the blanket statement. Everything has it's place. Buyers need to do their due diligence.

I have tested dozens of PBN services, asked for dozens of samples and I can't think of one PBN link provider, that I would feel completely safe to use for any long-term project. It was blanket-ish and I am sure it will piss off some PBN providers, but I stand behind this statement.

Why do bears poop in woods? Because that is what they do.

Seriously though, in some niches you CAN get away with some spun raggedy PBN... Until a competitor snitches on you because it's so easy to identify. Why half ass something? Because it MIGHT work right now? Do it right the first time. I've been set back so many times with SEO because I half assed something, found myself scrambling. Since I learned the hard way to put real effort into everything I do, I've been doing great. That is why I make PBN and even web 2 sites look real, personally. Because I'm not getting hit anymore since I started actually putting in effort for my income.

just my 2c

Signed. Doesn't mean the marketplace offers are bad or not worth their money. You can have a lot of fun in a brothel, but it's the wrong place to go if you are looking for a girlfriend or wife.

^This. As tempting as it is to save money and use a PBN for multiple money sites, it's just not worth the potential risk. If someone is short on funds, they should focus on building out their PBN slowly. The money will come. Once it does, they can scale.

The only exception that I would ever make to this is if I have multiple money sites that are in the same style of niche, such as Toasters and Microwave Ovens. Even then, I would only cross-link a handful of times.
I think you should stress your only exception. I have around 70 PBN sites, all for the same niche and it works fine for me.
I link to 3/4 Ms per a PBN due to being in the same niche.

Tbh it's not that big of an investment to make your PBNs look like actual business/money sites.

If you know the process then all you have to do is hire a VA and train him properly.

My VA can now throw up a legit looking business site in a little more than an hour. Here is an example of what he created a few days ago - http://real-estate.pbnpro.com/

At least I go to bed peacefully knowing that Big G is not going to slam my network for looking like it was thrown together by an 8-year-old.

Yep, this one looks good, but I still woudn't say it looks like a real site to be honest. But it's 5 times better than some random blog with all articles on homepage for sure. :)

I agree with you... wordpress and the page builder from different developers have realy made it easy to create and develop "real looking" websites.

What's missing that fails to make it look like a real site?
I'll have my VA add that up as well in the future.

The overall feeling, I can see from a mile away, that it's a PBN site. But that's just me, I am being quite strict with that. Plus, my eye is trained to see this kind of websites immediatelly, so it could be a expired-domain-finder-diagnose, hah. :)

Let's just hope that Google doesn't hire you as the head of the PBN sniffing team then.

show me a real blog with traffic, where admin is an author of each and every post.

Wait. Let me grab my excel sheet.

Haha.

Jokes aside. Admin as an author is a footprint only if all your PBNs have it. If you have a blog or two with admin as an author then there is nothing to worry about.

The blog I linked to above was just an example to show how my setup looks like. Obviously, a majority of them have unique personas.

i think no way to make it real if we still drop link on homepage.Search google "pay day loan" or "sell my car" and see their PBN
